EDITORIAL STANDARDS
Research & Source Standards
How we separate product facts, traditional context and scientific evidence when creating Hadith Organics educational content.
Our source hierarchy
For health and science topics, we prioritize systematic reviews, meta-analyses, randomized controlled trials and other peer-reviewed human research. We also use government and regulatory sources, recognized botanical databases and established medical institutions when they are the most appropriate source for a factual question.
Laboratory results about Hadith Organics are treated separately from general research. A result from our Eurofins report describes the submitted sample and is not presented as proof of a health outcome.
How we describe evidence
- Traditional use is identified as tradition, not clinical proof.
- Animal, laboratory and mechanistic findings are not presented as established human outcomes.
- Human studies are described with their limitations, including differences in dose, preparation, duration and study population.
- Association, biomarker change and clinical benefit are not treated as interchangeable concepts.
- Research on Nigella sativa generally is not presented as proof that the Hadith Organics product will produce the same outcome.
Product-specific claims
Product pages distinguish verifiable product facts — such as ingredient identity, bottle size, processing description and published laboratory measurements — from broader educational discussion about Nigella sativa.
Our published 2.35% thymoquinone figure refers to the sample analyzed by Eurofins using UPLC. See the Lab Testing page for the report context and Certificate of Analysis.
Source selection and citations
Research-heavy Journal articles link directly to the sources used so readers can review them independently. When high-quality review evidence exists, we generally prefer it over relying on a single small study. Botanical naming and taxonomy are checked against authoritative plant databases when relevant.
We avoid citing a source merely because it supports a favorable conclusion. Conflicting findings, weak certainty and important study limitations are included when they materially change the interpretation.
Updates, corrections and commercial context
Hadith Organics sells black seed oil, so readers should understand that our educational content is published by a commercial brand. We aim to make that context visible rather than presenting our Journal as an independent medical publication.
Articles are updated when product information changes or when newer evidence materially affects the explanation. If you believe a citation, factual statement or interpretation should be corrected, please contact us.
